The Basics
With our eclipse event we have 1200 guest spaces for rent and it was decided a few weeks back that 80% of our stock would go up for sale by auction only. This will allow us to yield a MUCH higher return. It's been suggested by many people now for us to obtain a food truck and to take it to as many festivals as we can find both selling food, as well as marketing our vendor and guest spaces all over Texas, but instead of paying for this as most events are, with the addition of a Food Truck, we end up getting PAID for advertising and promoting our event.
We have all the other backend work completed as far as food truck operation goes. All our people have our Texas Food Handlers License, we have our full menu built, our short menu, and our breakfast menu all ready to go and all food is sourced. We also have 2 primary cooks although only 1 is going to be in the food truck at any given time, as well a prep cook, and a window pass person to check folks out. We have our name and branding for the truck all ready to go with artwork and signage all sourced and ready to go. We simply only need the food truck and a starting purse to get food and pay our food truck staff. The beauty of this, is our "primary mission" of the truck is NOT to sell food, that's all extra money. What we're doing is promoting our events, going around getting other food trucks and vendors we like to come over to our truck and pay the $1500 - $5,000 to book at our Eclipse event.
We are also in the process of working out details with a very well known ventriloquist performance act as another draw for our event. With a signed NDA, we are willing to disclose who, but not going to post anything publicly until the paperwork is all complete and signed. This alone will easily score a NICE return on your investment if you choose to purchase equity, over giving us a standard financing agreement / Texas Promissory Note.
Food Truck Requirements
We are looking for is a food truck or trailer with at least 2 pass through windows. We will be taking this truck to events all across Texas. Our plan is to sell advertising space with this truck by setting up LCD screen tvs as well as other advertisement (by magnets, posters...etc) on the outside of the truck. This will allow us to increase revenue by being paid to advertise all across Texas.
Food truck or food trailer (As close to the examples pictured as possible) with the following features:
- 2 pass through windows
- Several beverage fridges
- a chest freezer
- industrial soft serve ice cream machine
- Flat Grill & Broiler
- Salamander
- convection oven
- regular oven
- deep fryer
Investor Requirements
We have no specific requirements from anyone to become an investor in our 2024 Eclipse Event. As we have already secured a Asst. General Manager and Chief Event Director that have all operations of the Eclipse Event managed between them we are seeking only a monetary investment of $65,000 in addition to the food truck.
Our only big thing is we need the food truck and complete monetary investment both at the same time so we can purchase food, the LCD panels which will be critical to selling advertising to other central Texas businesses so that we can maximize the return value of our own investment.
Below is a screenshot showing that our website pulled 1,000,000 legit page views in just our first 7 weeks which is an INCREDIBLE amount of traffic for no advertising other than a few random posts in random facebook groups. Additionally, is a screenshot showing proof that we're already getting $2,000 a booking. Additionally, we are selling sponsorship ad packages.
Return On Investment
We have decided to offer two methods for return on your investment to make it simple.
- In exchange for a new or VERY GENTLY used food truck and $65,000 we will sell you 5% of Happy Times Events, Ltd Co Equity. At this time, there is a single sole owner so there are not lots of people to deal with, just our single owner. Come April 30th, 2024, once all books close, you'll take 5% of the gross profit. We intend on putting on a Halloween 2024 event as well as a few clients of ours are interested in renting some of the spaces we operate.
- Instead of purchasing equity in our LLC, we are also offering a simple standard Texas promissory note with interest return on your principle. We would also attach you as lien holder on the food truck title until the balance plus interest is returned and work the repayment just like any standard vehicle loan.
