You must be one of the following to be awarded an academic only lot;

* Collegiate Facility
* Collegiate Astronomy Students ( Grad or Undergrad )
* Actively Working Astronomers for a Public or Private Entity
* Astro-Physicists Working for a Public or Private Entity

PLEASE NOTE: This booking DOES NOT include the RV, you of course must bring you own.  It includes the lot space, a single 30/50 amp power connection, and a 1/2 Gbps ethernet or fiber cable for internet connection.  Make sure you come with empty grey water and sewage tanks and full fresh water tanks.  We do provide sewage tank emptying with a truck are included as well as a fresh water truck fill up should you require it.

All Academic VIP Packages come with FREE access to 1/2 Gbps , 20ms or less latency hardline fiber fed internet AND shuttle service to our main Equrina Fields location within just a few miles with all the vendors and premium attractions.

In addition, EVERY academic package comes with included FREE 1 day pass to Schlitterbahn Water Park in New Braunfels, TX. Just check out the the listings below for more details.

SPECIAL NOTE: 10% of profits of all sales will be donated to the Hyper Fusion #FuseTheCommunity initiative to support their annual Burnet ISD Technology Scholarship Program. Hyper Fusion is the company providing all of our fiber, wifi, and fixed point wireless internet services for our event.

Additionally, the early bird tickets are only 10 lots available currently.  We have a total of 150 academic only spaces and the auctions are for multiple spaces and will go to auction on the dates started.  However, all our academic only lots we are setting a buy it now price to secure your space for the buy it now price.

Due to the extreme rarity of this event we have elected to set all of our Academic Packages with eBay style auctions.  These auctions have no reserve and also have a "Buy It Now" button to secure that space with a flat rate immediate check out.  Using the "Buy it now" button guarantees the space is yours.  If the listing has received at least one bid, you must enter your bid, and highest bidder will win the space.  All auctions will close on Leap Day, Feb. 29th, 2024.

Due to the extreme costs involved with ensuring that high-grade internet is available for every academic, no cancellations will be accepted after October 31st, 2023 as we need to make sure the setup process for these locations has enough time to complete before the event.  A 15% cancellation fee will apply.

Vendors will have the opportunity to setup for the weekend that will host out of town guest to experience the total eclipse in Burnet county.

As the guests arrive thought out the weekend awaiting the Monday afternoon eclipse we are scheduling a multitude of activities to keep everyone busy and entertained. Aside from having vendor booths for shopping and eating we will also have:
• Science Expo Tent with Space Documentaries
• Triotech XD Dark Ride Interactive Theater
• Kids Bounce Houses
• Astronomy seminar
• Midway carnival

What you can expect:
• Every vendor will have enough space for their RV/ travel trailer along with space to setup their vendor booths for an additional $97 fee for the entire event.
• Vendor will need to check-in between Monday, April 1 and Thurs April 4th.
• Vendors will be allowed to setup their own booth hours for the weekend anytime after they check in.
• All vendors will be listed on the happy times events website and will have an opportunity to take pre-order sales.
• Free onsite wi-fi service for linking up
• Several security officers will be on-site both day and night 24/7 for the entire event.

We anticipated the weekend attendance to be between 3000 - 4000.

Event dates are from April 5th - April 9th, 2024.  Except the park and view tickets are for the day of the Eclipse only.   All Early Bird Spaces are standard spaces only.  If you book one now, you'll get your choice of spots when we release the property maps as well as your choice of space.  We are allowing choice in order of purchase.  So, first order in gets first pick, last order in gets last pick.  Fairly simple.  Listed below are the lot types and available Early Bird space/lot launch quantities.  The quantity left for Early Bird specials will be listed on the booking page using the link below.
